Daging Masak Hitam Berempah Terlajak Sedap
Ingredients
- 1kg of beef (cut into cubes)
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 2 large onions (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- 3 star anise
- Salt (to taste)
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan and add in the onions. Cook until they become translucent.
- Add in the cinnamon, cloves and star anise and cook until they become fragrant.
- Add in the beef and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tamarind paste, tomato ketchup, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar and salt.
- Add in enough water to cover the beef and let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the beef is tender.
Daging Masak Kicap
Ingredients
- 500g of beef (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 red chilli (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of corn starch (mixed with 3 tablespoons of water)
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan and add in the onions, garlic and chilli. Cook until they become fragrant.
- Add in the beef and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- Add in enough water to cover the beef and let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the beef is tender.
- Stir in the corn starch mixture and let it cook until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot with some white rice or noodles.
